Hi,

I have a graph of data, and when I put this into a chart there is the option to fit the data to a curve. The options are

Linear
Exponential
Polynomial

These are OK, but the problem is that I have a curve that is most closely resembling a "Beta" distribution. Is there any way to fit the data to the beta curve using excel?

Are there options to fit data to other distributions like the logarithmic, chi-square, etc??

Thanks

Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Unfortunately Excel is very limited with curves. Your best bet is to use a polynomial and change the order (max is 6) and see if that works at all. Assuming it won't (the Excel default :)) your only option is to use a statistical formula to fit the curve and map that.

You can fit a log curve, I forget the exact syntax but do a google.
