Hello All,
I need help in finding a formula that will sum up the range of values in a specific column then i need to group the sum of the values by that specific sum.
column A has 1200 line items: various names of pencil cases (PCRed, PCBlue, PC Green etc.
column B also has 1200 line items: various number pencils (1,5,6,1,3,4,39,1,13)
i need to make sure that no more that 50 pencils are put in a pencil case
i also need to make sure that the pencils for PCRed do not get put in any other pencil case.
lets say of the 1200 line items PCRed has 88 line items
and a total of 176 pencils in column B
i need to make sure i have 3 groups of 50 and 1 group with less than 26
let the first group of 50= PCRed1, second Group of 50=PCRed2, third group =PCRed3 and the fourth group PCRed4
is there a formula to do this so i don't have to manually count the quantities in column B and group them with Column A
for the entire 1200 line items
your assistance is greatly appreciated.
