Finding the next specific month from a date

Hi Members,

Kindly assist me, I am trying to find a formula to find the next specific month.

Example I want to return the next 01 April from a date, ie. 24 Sep 2017 will return 01 April 2018.

try this...

=IF(A1>DATE(YEAR(A1),4,1), "01/04/" & YEAR(A1)+1, "01/04/" & YEAR(A1))

Or: =DATE(YEAR(A1+274),4,1)

But if the "next" 1 April from 1 April 2018 is 1 April 2019, use 275.

But if the "next" 1 April from 1 April 2018 is 1 April 2019, use 275.

This is perfect - simple and keeps date format in cell.
