finding the difference each month?

Hi i need some help and hope that it is possible to do, bare with me and i'll try and explain the best i can
the answer will go in the difference column (P)
as figures are entered into each month and category i want it to work out the total planned amounts times the amount of months that have figures in them minus the total of the months
so for what i have here so far P3=(Q3*2)-(-300+250)
which of course would work, but without having to change the formula each time i want it to work itself out
i hope this makes sense on what i need to do, thanks in advance for your help
