I have decided to reformat an existing worksheet which i created some time ago 2005 and now i require to edit a couple of drop down fields to add new and delete old parts. I can find the source when I go to Data > Validation -and
look under the box for Source. However, rather than showing a range where
the list is contained, it shows =parts. I don't find any other cells in the
worksheet with parts, I have searched the net and tried to edit the value in Name manager but unable to edit. I have unhide the sheet and even changed the color of font to just highlight the list... this was an old thing i used to do????
Is there a way to find and edit the list. Now i am currently using 2007
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
What does it show in Name Manager as the range for the Parts name?
