Hi all,

I’ve got an issue within my companies CRM system where there are many duplicate organisations created constantly. I must now identify these duplicate companies however they aren’t always written exactly the same and therefore when I use excel to find duplicates it only highlights the values which are identical

For example:
“Visit Cyprus”
“Cyprus tourist board”

They are the same company however they won’t be pulled in excel as a duplicate.

Is there any way to identify duplicates in this way, I appreciate its quite a difficult question because it’s clearly very different names, but any help is really appreciated.

Thanks

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
Post your Sample data using XL2BB utility to understand more what you exactly want. With Excel 365 you have got many options to deal with such data. It all depends on what your database is and what end result you are looking for.
