Hi, I have searched the forums but haven't been able to locate a possible answer to my query, apologies if I have missed one. My scenario is that I have a spreadsheet of stock information sorted into columns with barcode number as one of the columns. Whilst I sit in front of the PC I want to see if a barcode is found in the spreadsheet when another person is scanning the barcode on the shop floor directly from the stock item. I don't want the action to change anything, just find (highlight the cell) where the barcode data exists and then move to the next "found" cell when the next barcode is scanned etc. At the moment I am using Find and Replace but if the scan finds the barcode, I have to click back on the find data entry box, clear what is there and then say OK so the next item can be scanned. Of course, if the item is not found, I would like notification of this, similar to the pop-up message generated when using Find and Replace. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
