Finding Average Values 1/3 of the middle range

Dear Excel Expert,

I am looking for a formula / ways to find the middle 1/3 average value of the range data between X that I can copy and past down the column without need to go through each section of the data.

I've attached a spreadsheet and part of the data is shown above.

Can you post a mini-sheet rather than a picture? And we would need to know the rules, if there are n entries, how do we know which middle third do we have to pick precisely? For example, the last one in your picture has 11 items. You average items 5-7. Why not average items 4-8, or any other range of values?
