In column A, I have a list of dates
In Column B I have another list of dates

How can I have Column C combine A & B and at the same time omit duplicates so dupe dates only appear once?

Thanks
Neil

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
One way:

1. Insert a column before column C.

2. Copy the dates from column A to the new column C, then copy the dates from column B below them.

3. Select column C and choose Data|Filter|Advanced Filter.

4. Check Copy to another location, specify cell D1 as the Copy to range, check Unique records only and click OK.

5. Delete column C.
