Hi all,

I have an equation the has one missing variable that must be found. All of the other variables are known. The equation is:

{(P/Pe)-1}{((Pc/Py)^2)-1}=(Pc/Py)(Fo(Do/Tnom))

The unknown value is Pc. What would be the best way to find this missing value? I've rearranged the formula into a quadratic and applied the quadratic formula, yet this process is quite lengthy as there are 2 routes that are taken in the formule (x = -b +&- sqrt(b^2 - 4ac) / 2a ).

I've heard something about 2 other options, goseek and another unknown function, any advice?
