I'm asking the user to enter a number and then via vba I want to find a cell in a column (sorted ascending) with a value equal to or closest to the value entered by the user.

I know I can just loop thru starting from the first cell in the column and stopping when I get to a cell that has a value greater than the given number but there must be a more efficient way.

Thanks,
