Hi, I have a table of data giving different prices of different items. Below is a sample of that data. I want to be able to type in teh criteria (Shape Weight Colour condition) and then the document to show me the price for that criteria.

Say A1 = SHAPE
B1=Weight
c1 = colour
d1 = condition

And where the table says circle its cell b3

Circle square
Blue Red Blue Red
old new old new old new old new
Weight
0.1 £1.00 £3.00 £2.00 £4.00 £1.50 £3.50 £2.50 £4.50
0.2 £2.00 £4.00 £3.00 £5.00 £2.50 £4.50 £3.50 £5.50
0.3 £3.00 £5.00 £4.00 £6.00 £3.50 £5.50 £4.50 £6.50
0.4 £4.00 £6.00 £5.00 £7.00 £4.50 £6.50 £5.50 £7.50
0.5 £5.00 £7.00 £6.00 £8.00 £5.50 £7.50 £6.50 £8.50
0.6 £6.00 £8.00 £7.00 £9.00 £6.50 £8.50 £7.50 £9.50

Thanks

Your help will be much appreciated

Hi Sascha,

How the Red/Blue is raleted to your data?
Are they on the top of every row with old /new?
I can see 8 old/new but only 4 red/blue
In this case your result can be let say £1 or£2 for Blue/Old , weight 0.1.

Could you gave a little bit more specific leyaut?

Sorry the table came out a bit funny

Lets say the data required just for circle should look as follows. SO each shape has what ever colours it comes in, then each colour has the conditions it comes in, using those plus the weight gives you the price that each item should be. If it is easier to rearrange the tables I will do that in order to get the desired outcome

Circle
Red Blue
Weight New Old New Old
0.1 2 1 4 2
0.2 3 2 5 3
0.3 4 3 6 4
