Hello, i have a sheet from B1 to Z44444 that contain a lot of text in each cell. I want to find the number of times the word "freedom" exists in this range and put the count in A1. it would need to find any variation of it, like "myfreedom", "yourfreedom", etc. if the word exits in a cell more than once, i only need to count it once. any help is appreciated. thanks in advance.

Excel Facts

Quick Sum
Select a range of cells. The total appears in bottom right of Excel screen. Right-click total to add Max, Min, Count, Average.
This should count the number of occurrence of "freedom" in the range.

Excel Formula:
=COUNTIF(B1:Z44444,"*"&"freedom"&"*")
