My workbook has nine sheets, each sheet has project names in column A. persons are responsible for their own assignment, sheet tab shows the person’s name the sheet assigned to. Some project are duplicate, meaning they were assigned to more than one persons.
What is the best way to find out the duplicate projects (in column A of each sheet).

Thanks

Excel Facts

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
You need to essentially make one table out of many and then count the occurrences of the same project number.
You can use the Data Model to link the tables. You need a control list of the projects which will list each project only once.

Thank you Spiller,

I appreciate it, unfortunately I am using Excel 2010. I will copy and paste column A of all sheets on column A of one sheet to find supplicate.

Thanks,
