hi.
For a specific range of cells that I define, I would like to search for a particular piece of text within the formula - if found, paste values and then move on to the next.
Specifically, I'm trying to paste values for all vlookup formulas in a range of cells in a worksheet.
Can someone help with a macro for that?
Thanks in advance!

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
This will work on the selection at the time the macro is run. Its dangerous if you run it by mistake as your formulas are gone!

Code:
Dim rng As Range

On Error GoTo TheEnd

Set rng = Selection.SpecialCells(xlCellTypeFormulas)
For Each c In rng
    If InStr(LCase(c.Formula), "vlookup") > 0 Then
        c.Value = c.Value
    End If
Next

Exit Sub

TheEnd:
MsgBox "No cells found with formulas"
