Find last value in a column and insert in a cell on another sheet?

What would be the formula to find the last value in column "c" on sheet 1 and insert it in a cell on sheet 2?

I am using Excel 2007.

Excel Facts

If you want to pick out the last numeric value (number, date, time)...

=LOOKUP(9.99999999999999E+307,Sheet1!C:C)

If you want to pick out the last text value (including a formula blank)...

=LOOKUP(REPT("z",255),Sheet1!C:C)
