Hi All

Probably very simple but just cant find the right way to ask the question in google to get the desired response.

I have a workbook that gets updated weekly based on current sales forecast.

At the beginning of the sheet are several formulas which I currently adapt each week to point at the correct cell. Last week I started pointing the formulas at a cell containing =max for the row. Worked perfectly until one of my forecasts dropped!

So what I am after is something which would find the first blank cell in a row and give me the resulting figure 2 cells back, as each week I input the sales forecast and the percentage to target. Is this possible without it being a ridiculously long string?

Thanks in advance!

Excel Facts

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
How about something like
=LOOKUP(2,1/(D2:Q2<>""),B2:O2)
