Suppose you have a table with the days of the week on the top row and the names of different people in the first column. Suppose a 7 by 7 table of data with numbers randomly in there with several cells blank. What is a formula for each person that tells the day of the week for the first non blank cell? And maybe the last too?

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
maybe something like...
