Good day. I am running Excel out of Office365 (updated) and Windows 10 Home (updated). I have a worksheet with 3000 Rows and several Columns containing data about music. Column A contains the Title of each song. I want to get a count of how many songs contain a given word such as Love. That word may be anywhere in the title, .and the title may be up to thirty characters I have tried using versions of Find, Countif and Lookup with no correct answers. I appreciate any help with this problem.
Thank you,
Dan Wilson...

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
How about
Excel Formula:
=COUNTIFS(A:A,"*love*")

Solution
Good day Fluff, you came to the rescue again. I discovered that COUNTIF also works. In my attempts to make this work, I was missing the Asterisks around the word to search for. It is so satisfying to have expert help available.
Thank you,
Dan Wilson...
