Hello all,
What I am trying to do is track changes between two workbooks / worksheets. (I dont mean to track user changes, this is not to see what someone has changed in my table.) I use a software called Crystal that pulls info from payroll and put it into an Excel table.
Use Crystal to make Excel sheet --> Unioninfo1.xls
In a couple of weeks I will do the same thing: Crystal ->Excel->Unioninfo2.xls
I want to be able to comapre the two sheets and see what has changed. If in Unioninfo1.xls John Doe is listed as S2 status and in Unioninfo2.xls he is listed as S6 is there a way for Excel to either make a new table or identify this change?
On a single sheet I use CounIf in conditional formatiing to higlight duplicates, but I wanted to know if I could do this between two seperate tables. Anyway if someone has an idea it would greatly appreciated. I hope my question made sense.
