Hi everyone
I want to intelligently calculate the average of that range by selecting the station column wherever kilometers change.

Welcome to the Board!

I think maybe the reason you have not gotten any replies is because people don't quite understand your question.
Which of your columns are you trying to average?
Can you walk us through an example, based on your data sample above, and show us your expected results?

Thank you for your attention
I want to calculate the average number of numbers in the range where this condition is in place if the absolute value of the first number and the second number from the station column is between zero and two.

Repeated from my last post:

It still is not clear to me what are you trying to do. Remember, while you are familiar with your problem, we are not. All we know if whatever you have posted here.
You have a number of columns. Which one exactly are you trying to average?

Please walk us through an example based on the actual data you posted, showing us your expected value and explaining exactly how you got there.

Examples often do a better job of showing exactly what you are trying do to than just plain words.

That would have taken a bit of guessing! ;)

So how do we decide which ones need to be averaged?
As long as the absolute value of the difference between the first and second numbers, the second and third numbers, etc., is between zero and two, the average of the numbers in this range is calculated.
