Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
Try this

Code:
Sub sequence()
    For i = Range("A" & Rows.Count).End(xlUp).Row To 2 Step -1
        Range("A" & i) = WorksheetFunction.CountIf(Range("A2:A" & i), Range("A" & i))
    Next
End Sub
