Hi all, I found I have no other way of doing this than to have a code in third workbook manipulating 2 other workbooks. This is where I'm stuck, little help would be appriciated
I need the code to find active workbook containing "name1" as part of its name, then activate it, run some code, then find second active workbook containing "name2" as part of its name, then activate it, run rest of the code.
Possible? Thanks

Sure. Something like this gives you a method:

Code:
For Each wb In Workbooks
    Select Case True
        Case InStr(LCase(wb.Name), "name1") > 0
            MsgBox wb.Name & " contains name1"
        Case InStr(LCase(wb.Name), "name2") > 0
            MsgBox wb.Name & " contains name2"
    End Select
Next
