Financial Years

Hi I'm new to powerpivot and just trying to get to grips with a few things. I need to create some totals for full year actuals for last Financial Year and year to date actuals for last Financial year and the current finacial year. The problem I'm having is that the year runs from April to March and I can't see how to do this in Dax functions. I assume I need to combine some but I'm not sure where to start.

I've solved this issue - getting confused between that way dates are written in UK and USA - in the words of Homer Simpson Dohhh!
