can someone please explain why when i filter straight from the pivot table fields pane without the actual filed being part of the pivot table that it ignores it see attached picture
As you can see the month field is filtered but the pivot table is ignoring it why is that, is this an excel bug ?
Only when i make month as a slicer or add it to my pivot table then it works why is that
