Hi, been googling for hours, just now sure what this would be called or wether it is possible.

I have worbook with 2 sheets, Sheet 1 contains a list of employees in colmn A, with contact details etc in columns B to E
Sheet 2 details all the jobs outstanding.

I want to be abe to double click on a name, and for it to filter sheet 2 by that name also in colmn A (sheet 2)

Is this possible?
what would it be called? anyone got any links to examples?

Excel Facts

Create a chart in one keystroke
Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
How about
Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_BeforeDoubleClick(ByVal Target As Range, Cancel As Boolean)
   If Target.Column <> 1 Then Exit Sub
   Cancel = True
   With Sheets("Sheet2")
      If .AutoFilterMode Then .AutoFilterMode = False
      .Range("A1").AutoFilter 1, Target.Value
   End With
End Sub
This needs to go in the Sheet module for sheet you'll Double Click on.
