I am trying to filter through multiple columns. Below is the code I am using, what am I doing wrong?

Sub Filterindata()

Range("B1").AutoFilter field:=2, Criteria1:="1001 - North America"
Range("J262").AutoFilter field:=1, Criteria1:="Severance"

End Sub

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
I think the issue is you are trying to place two different ranges for the filter, hence "B1" & "J262" ... Try the below code

Code:
With Rows(1)
    .AutoFilter Field:=2, Criteria1:="1001 - North America"
    .AutoFilter Field:=10, Criteria1:="Severance"
End With
