I have a csv file that contains columns with dates, when filtering it they are not grouped, but when opening that same file on another computer if it is grouped.
To solve it, verify that it activates the option "Group dates in the AutoFilter Menu", in addition to validate the language and format of dates but the failure continues.
I'm just commenting on this thread in case someone googles it and finds it like I did. While this is not the answer to the OP's question. If you're looking for a possible solution, we just discovered 1 hidden row stopped all the date filtering from working after that row.
I don't understand why, but maybe it will help someone else.
