I've just discovered Access does not use the Filter function like Excel does

Description

Returns a zero-based array containing subset of a string array based on a specified filter criteria.

Syntax

Filter(sourcesrray, match[, include[, compare]])

I'm converting a large workbook to Access 2007 and the Filter function is used extensively.
Is there an Access equivalent, or must write my own function.

Thanks.

Excel Facts

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
Are you sure? The Filter function is a VBA function, not part of the Excel model, so it should be in VBA in every program.
