Filter function - based on max value in another columne

Hi
I have this table what I want is to filter the max mark so I wrote this formula but did not work

=FILTER(A1:B16,MAX(B1:B16))

Any idea would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
Just make sure the Student Marks are actual numbers & not text.
