Hi Experts
Here comes a new problem.

I want to filter a field "Sr" in my table "Visits". The field "Sr" contains data in form "A 0001" and counting goes on.

So I want to filter giving input a record number for example "0499"

I tried to write a code using my previous few codes but it is not working. Obviously I'm overlooking some basic technical thing.

Please help

Thanks a lot

Part of code that is handling this situation is as below -

Code:
Dim i As Variant

    Do
        i = Application.InputBox("Sr", "Sr No.", Type:=1)
        With Application
            If .IsLogical(i) Then Exit Sub
            If i <> "" Then Exit Do
        End With
        MsgBox "You must enter a Sr number!", vbExclamation
    Loop

    ActiveSheet.ListObjects("Visits").Range.AutoFilter Field:=1, Criteria1:= _
        "*i*"
