Hello Excel Masters.

I am trying to write a formula that will fill in the blank cells for Column B with "Contact 1", "Contact 2", or "Contact 3". Depending on how many duplicates are in Column A.

EX:
174653Contact 1
174653Contact 2
175277Contact 1
175277Contact 2
178484Contact 1
178484Contact 2
178484Contact 3

Thank you for the help.

Hi,
You can test
="Contact "&COUNTIF($A$2:A2,A2)
