Hi all,

I am wanting a very simple excel spreadsheet that everytime I press the enter key it colours a cell, I am wanting to count someting from a video but dont have a click counter, my idea is I watch the video and when I need to count someting I press enter, after the video I just count up the coloured cells in column A.

Any ideas?

Kind regards,

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
Hi,

How about you start in row 1, hit enter to count something, and when done, you can see what row you are in and subtract one for the count. Alternatively, you could hit the one key and enter key. When done, sum the cells with a one for the total count.

Hope that helps,

Doug
