This maybe a very simple question.

I have 1 column.

01/01/2018
01/01/2018
01/01/2018
01/01/2018

I want the pattern to continue i thought i could highlight the 4 cells and fill down and it would look like the below but it does not let me it just duplicates the values in the first 4 cells. I thought if i highlight the 01/01/2018 and the 02/01/2018 it would pick up the pattern and continue but this does not work either. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
Hi Wecks,

You could use a formula to get that effect, put 01/01/2018 in A1 and use this below:

=IF(MOD(ROW()-1,4)=0,A1+1,A1)
