Good Morning

I hope someone can help.

What I need to do using VBA is Select a file Using the windows menu tree. Then pass the directory path & file name to variable1 and just the filename to variable2.

Many thanks

Kev

Excel Facts

Convert text numbers to real numbers
Select a column containing text numbers. Press Alt+D E F to quickly convert text to numbers. Faster than "Convert to Number"
You can use Application.GetOpenFilename to allow the user to select a file. Then parse the result using Mid$(result, instrrev(result, "")+ 1) to get just the file name.
