Hello Friends

Could you please comment how to assign first row of data as the field names when linking a Fixed Width Text file to Access Table?

When linking a delimited file, the interface shows an option of assigning first row of data as the field names. But there seems to be no such option when linking "Fixed Width" file.

Could anyone please let me know if there is a way or confirm that this option is not there? So that I may proceed assigning fields manually and then deleting first row in the data.

I am using MS Access 2007.

Thanks
Rajesh
