I am trying to create a form and am having a problem doing it.

My problem would be solved if I could get the field name as data in a query, is this possible?

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
Lets see I can explain it better.

I need the headings of a table to be displayed as data.

Example of Table:
Main Auto Class
5 7 9
6 4 5

What I need is
Main 5
Main 6
Auto 7
Auto 4
Class 9
Class 5

I was thinking this might be possible in a query?

What is the end result that you are looking for? I think you should be able to do it w/o putting your data like that...

What I need to do, is data analysis.

I need to create a form for an user to input the data. And because my knowledge of Access is limited, I can only create the form the way I need it, is if I put the data I want to analise as table headings.

But then I need to arrange the table heading for data analysis.

OK, I figured out what to do.

Its not really the most professional thing to do, but it gets the job done.

I'll have to create a query for each column heading and add a calculated field and put the column heading in there so it will automatically will be displayed as data.

I have to do this for every column heading.

Then create a Union query and join all the queries created.

A little long process, but it will get the job done.
