Is it possible to create a PivotChart and PivotTable from the same information but display different information in each? I created a pie chart based on a PivotTable for an assignment, and when I moved the fields between areas like the legend and axis in the field list, it modified both the chart and the PivotTable. Is there a way to display different information in each? Could I also have multiple PivotCharts display separate parts of the table and be modified separately from the PivotTable and each other?

Welcome to the board!

The pivot charts are based on pivot tables so no, you can't have a chart and a pivot table showing different information.

However, you can create several pivot tables ( and charts) based on the same data and have them display different views of the same data. You can even connect your slicers to work with all your pivot tables so if you have your pivot tables in different sheets, you can copy the graphs based on those tables visible on the same worksheet as the pivot table you want to show in your report and have the same slicers control all your pivot tables (even if they're sitting on hidden sheets).

The only catch is all the pivot tables have to be based on the same pivot data (pivot cache).
