I appreciate your quick response. My esc key has 'FNLock' right under it; I assume that's it. I pressed Fn key and esc at the same time and FnLock with a line thru it came up. I'm assuming I disabled Fn Lock; however, it didn't solve my problem. I guess I'll look for a Lenovo forum. Again, thank you for your help. At least I'm pointed in right direction!A lot of laptops have a function lock key somewhere on them - you'll need to find yours. (this is a hardware question, not an Excel one )
Thanks. I tried that. I got a pop up that said 'do you want to save,' as if my command was to close the file. Lenovo 'support' told me the same thing along with 4 other ideas that told me they're fishing. Thank for taking the time to respond. I'll see if Best Buy's Geek Squad can help. Thanks againTry Ctrl+Y
Thank you. I'm only superficially aware regarding hardware. My friend and personal expert hasn't solved it. I'll probably give Best Buy's Geek Squad a crack. Thanks again. I'm open to all ideas. That's surprising I would have thought the Ctrl+Y would be just as universal as Ctrl+Z.
