Hello!

I am a new analyst and I am trying to make a report at my work more accurate and free of human error.

I have one worksheet which is a template (we use this template every day and we save under the current date) before saving we must update this template with the current date's Forecasting numbers. We have another 2 workbooks with the month's forecasts (1 for each client we service). For example we have "Client A March 2017 Forecast" and "Client B March 2017 Forecast" in each of these there are 4 sheets (they have call center stats "NCO" "AHT" "Open" "Closed") each sheet has a heading on row1 with the date and from row 2 to 34 it has numbers.

We need to locate the date, then copy from row 2 to 34 and paste in the Template file under the Forecast cells.

I remember there was a way before when we opened the file, we got a pop up asking us to insert today's date and the macro would fill in the forecasts for us. However, this file has been deleted and the person who created it no longer works with us.

Any idea what I need to do for this? I've been googling and searching YouTube to no avail. If you can at least let me know what to google, that would be helpful.

Thanks!

Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
