Extraction

I have a cell with information such as Tax: 1913 MLS: 1919 or can change to just a year like 1913 and other combination like MLS: 1913.
Please help me extract just the Tax number or MLS if only MLS is available. I have room in the spreadsheet if it need to be put on 2 different formulas. Im a novice to excel, thank you for your help.

Based on what you posted, It sounds like you are trying to retrieve the first number in the cell (which is always a 4-digit year). If that is correct...

=0+MID(A1,MIN(FIND({0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9},A1&"0123456789")),4)
