Extracting Year and Month from date with month as 2 digits

I have a date in column A formatted as 1/10/2017. I am using concatenate(Year(a2),"-",Month(a2)) and it returns 2017-1. I need the month to show as 2 digits for sorting. how can I get it to return 2017-01 or if month is October, 2017-10.
