I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a free program that does this or if its possible to write a small program.

I would like to extract specific text from a web page about once an hour and have the text go into a file. It should be easy to find the text in teh file becuase it is enclosed in a unique tag.

thanks

Excel Facts

Copy PDF to Excel
Select data in PDF. Paste to Microsoft Word. Copy from Word and paste to Excel.
Its pretty straightforward with IE automation and RegExp for parsing, for example ttp://www.mrexcel.com/board2/viewtopic.php?t=160805

Whats the site, and what text do you want?

Cheers

Dave
