Extracting Exam data from Broadsheet but can results be in columns?

I have a large broadsheet with exam results. Fluff's answer to dpbarry almost produces what I want:

However I would like all a students results to be in one row, using columns for the results rather than consecutive rows:
A B C D E F G
JOE MATHS A BIO C ENGLISH B
MARY BIO D

I tried playing with the loop (r) and (c) variables but got nowhere! Could someone explain how it works?

On further thought, if I I run the original macro is there a way to copy matching values for unique UPNs from rows to columns as below?
