Hi,

I have a number of email addresses that have the name in the front and I need to extract just the email address to do a vlookup on. I have used this formula so far =TRIM(RIGHT(SUBSTITUTE(LEFT(H2,FIND (" ",H2&" ",FIND("@",H2))-3)," ", REPT(" ",LEN(H2))),LEN(H2))) which has helped but there is a < at the start of the email address i.e joe.bloggs <joe.bloggs@xyz.com>,

The formula above has resulted in <joe.bloggs@xyz.com

How do I remove the < at the start?

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
Try like this

Excel Formula:
=MID(H2,FIND(" ",H2)+2,LEN(H2)-FIND(" ",H2)-3)
