Extracting data from a cell that contains transactions

Hi Excellent Excellers :),

Help Required: How do I extract data from transaction SMS received from Banks on card swipe, each bank has a different format, for the below use cases:
  1. Transaction SMS: I would like to extract the Amount and SHOP add them into two different cells
  2. Monthly Statement SMS: I would like to extract the Bank Card, Total amt due, Due date into three different cells

Is the amount always preceded by the currency abbreviation?

Are you provided with the name of the bank for each line?

Is the amount always preceded by the currency abbreviation?
Yes, bank name is provided the currency format is erratic in the last row it's Rs. 1,297.50 where as others have inr

  • What are the expected results for that sample data or new sample data (post again with XL2BB please)?

  • Explain the logic that would be used to obtain those results.
