If A1 contained the following text "Cabinet Conclusion: Minutes and Papers: CAB 65/3/35" how would I extract the "CAB 65/3/35" please?

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
Hi,

One sample is usually not enough to go on, so if your data is Always in that format but with varying lengths, use B1 formula.
If it's Always the last 11 characters, then as simple as B2 formula.

Book1
AB
1Cabinet Conclusion: Minutes and Papers: CAB 65/3/35CAB 65/3/35
2CAB 65/3/35
Sheet76
Cell Formulas
RangeFormula
B1=TRIM(RIGHT(SUBSTITUTE(A1,":",REPT(" ",100)),100))
B2=RIGHT(A1,11)
