I can think of many ways to do this but wonder what is the best/most efficient ?

I want everything after the first space and before the first 2 spaces.
The spaces have been validated

Excel Facts

Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"
Try this formula:

Excel Formula:
=TRIM(MID(SUBSTITUTE(A3," ",REPT(" ",250)),250,250))

item = Mid(item, (InStr(item, " ")))
tem = Split(item, " ")(0)
Was the best I could come up with. Can't use an Excel Formula in VBA (or can I?)

See post #2:

''item = Mid(item, (InStr(item, " ")))
tem = Split(item, " ")(1)
