Hi everyone,

I have a question but I don't know if it is possible. If I have an AutoCAD drawing with its dimensions can I write a code in excel to copy the dimensions from AutoCAD into excel? If it is possible can you please give an idea or some resources where I can search

Excel Facts

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
If I have a house for example and I am using the multileader command The dimensions would be listed as follows:
door
height=2.35
this would be for the height. For the width
door
width=0.05

Can I do something to go and copy "door" first and paste it under the "Element" section in excel table and then take the height value (2.35) and paste in the "Height" section and same for the width all for the same element and then repeat the process for other elements

As i do not know autocad this is difficult. you can copy words or numbers or paragraphs and paste them wherever you like but I do not know why you would want to take data from such a specialist package in the first place.....
