Hi,
I have started to have a problem with external links in a couple of spreadsheets.
The problem is when you have just the primary spreadsheet open the external links are displayed as
'\\DataDrivePC\Group\Forecasts\Mgmt Master\Sep11 actuals for financial bodies\[MasterBankModel v0.1.15.xlsm]Keydata'X144.
When the source file is opened the link should shorten to
'[MasterBankModel v0.1.15.xlsm]Keydata'X144
but it won't and I have to relink it manually to shorten the address, but even then if I save, close the file then reopen it I get the same problem.

We are running Excel 2007 on a mixture of XP and Windows7 PC's, fully updated.
Trust Centre settings for external Content is PROMPT USER ABOUT DATA CONNECTIONS and PROMPT USER ON AUTOMATIC UPDATE FOR WORKBOOK LINKS.

I'm hoping someone else has had this problem and found a solution, please help.
Thanks in advance.
Guz
